The Uni Watch Membership Program was a way to support Uni Watch by purchasing a custom-designed membership card. Each card had the enrollee’s name on the front and a uni-based design on the back. Graphic designer Scott M.X. Turner designed the cards in sheets of eight (here’s a video showing his working method), and I trimmed, laminated, signed, and mailed out each one.
From May 2007 through May 2026, the membership program resulted in over 3,700 cards. You can see all of them here. The program also ended up giving birth to the annual Purple Amnesty Day tradition, which you can learn more about here.
The membership program is now on hiatus (it may be reactivated at some point in the future), so we’re no longer taking card orders. But the project remains one of the great Uni Watch success stories.
