Iowa Cubs Wear Camo For Promotional Event Last Night

By John Ekdahl

The Iowa Cubs wore camo jerseys for their National Wild Turkey Federation Shirt Off Your Back Night promotion. Jerseys were auctioned off during the game to benefit the NWTF, which is “dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage.” Additional photo here.

The best thing I can say about those hideously ugly Iowa Cubs National Wild Turkey Federation jerseys is that they somehow manage to use camo in a way that doesn’t involve G.I. Joe-style military pandering.

I honestly thought that the NWTF was photoshopped in.

Since it wasn’t it makes the Now, WTF idea that much better.

Maybe some people don’t live and die by the site, so they haven’t seen it “like 5 times” already…?

Please tell me that’s not a new Oregon ducks uniform element. Reminds of from in a weird way
